ChartAcc.com - The Union Budget 2015-16 major proposed changes are given below:
1. No change in Tax rate of Individuals.
2. Corporate tax reduced to 25%.
3.Wealth Tax Abolished.
4. 2% surcharge on Super Rich with Income above 1 Cr.
5.Service Tax Increased to 14%
6.All real estate transaction above Rs. 20000 to be made by account payee Cheque.
7.New law on Black Money.
8.Conveyance Allowance Exemption increased to Rs. 1600/- pm
9. Additional deduction for deposit in New Pension Scheme upto Rs. 50,000

- Upper Tier 2 - It includes Debt which is:
- Perpetual (senior to preferred capital and equity)
- Deferrable and cumulative coupons
- Interest and principal can be written down
- Lower Tier 2 -
- cheap for banks to issue
- coupons not deferrable without triggering default
- subordinated debt with a maturity of a minimum of 10 years.
